General Summary:

Qualcomm is looking for an experienced marketing professional in gaming with primary responsibility to promote Snapdragon gaming technology leadership based on a better partner with China AAA game studios, major gaming technology companies, and many other gaming partners:

Plan, organize and execute high-profile technical forums/seminars/workshops/joint programs which should serve as platforms to showcase our gaming technology leadership and strong ability to support gaming ecosystem with key partners. Actively participate in major industry events, evaluate and secure speakership opportunities to maximize brand exposure. Build and enhance Snapdragon's brand image in the Chinese AAA gaming studio community. Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns across different channels to increase brand awareness and engagement with China gaming partners.

Major Responsibilities:

• Devise a B2B gaming go-to-market strategy for China, pinpointing target gaming partner segments and aligning with global and regional goals.

• Plan, organize and execute the strategic alliance with key partners to raise awareness in China gaming ecosystem.

• Identify and forge strategic partnerships with key players, develop co-marketing activities to serve our key business objectives.

• Secure influential speakership opportunities in China, organize related content and speakers to join the speakership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years marketing or related work experience, gaming related job experience is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a gaming related field. A master's degree is highly preferred.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and executing marketing strategies in the Chinese market, specifically in engaging with the developer community.

• Excellent understanding of the Chinese gaming and developer ecosystem, including knowledge of major game engines, development platforms, and industry trends.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex marketing projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both in English and Mandarin. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including partners, customers, and internal teams.

• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using marketing analytics tools to measure and optimize campaign performance.

• Strategic thinking and strong business sense

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

• Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
