What's the role?
Business Developer OEM is a sales leadership role where you will focus on developing and/or enhancing existing business with a selection of focus accounts relevant for Hilti’s business.
You will be responsible for developing sales, driving specifications and developing long term relationships up to senior director level stakeholders alongside with our sales and technical teams.
What does the role involve?
• Responsible for identifying and developing OEM business opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
• Develop, maintain and transfer (depending on your strategy) long-term relationships within assigned accounts.
• Accountable for sales conversion of achieved OEM standards and specifications
• Support the sales team in defining solutions and quotations for customers, as well as working on follow-up activities.
• Coordinate with other departments within the organization (legal, logistics, pricing department) to implement strategies and ensure smooth operations
What you need is:
• Suitable bachelor’s degree required with min. 5 years’ experience from global account management in the field of technical product sales. MBA is an advantage.
• Proven success with selling value added and solutions to owners, consultants and contractors
• Extensive experience in global account management including global supply/pricing agreements and basic engineering knowledge is an advantage.
• Senior relationship management: Capable and confident while speaking to senior director and C-level customers.
• Understanding external stakeholders’ pain points and trends, and influencing internal strategies based on this.
• Communication skills: Creation of trust through active listening, influencing with leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven and working autonomously.
• Fluent in English
