About the Company

SDTBU (originally named China Coal Economic College) was established in December 1985 with the approval of the former Ministry of Education. It was the only finance & economics university of the former Ministry of Coal Industry. SDTBU is built by Central government and Shandong Province together and mainly managed by Shandong Province. In November 1997, SDTBU was successful in satisfying the requirements and standards of the undergraduate educational evaluation by the former Ministry of Education. In December 2003, the Education Ministry carried out an evaluation on the bachelor’s degree teaching standards of SDTBU and SDTBU was successful in meeting the Ministry’s required standards. In February 2003, the State Ministry of Education gave approval for the university to change its original name into Shandong Technology and Business University.
